NOT YET UHURU!!!. 30 YEARS OF DEMOCRACY A DREAM BETRAYED!. It was exactly on this day the 27th of April in 1994 when millions of South Africans stood in long queues to cast their votes to usher in the  democratic dispensation . This week we have been bombarded with the news of the former state president Thabo Mbeki agreeing to campaign for the desperate African National Congress in the lead up to the 2024 National and Provincial Elections . South Africa is gearing up for the watershed elections which have been dubbed the most important elections since 1994. Some have even gone as far as terming this elections as their 1994. One of the reasons which made this elections so important and intense is because for the first time since 1994 the governing African National Congress is not guaranteed of a victory. There exists a real possibility of the African National Congress dropping below 50 % for the first time since the don of democracy in 1994. South Africa has been griped by the elections fever, as the country will be going to the National and Provincial Elections on the 29th of May 2024. This election comes at a point in time when the country is celebrating 30 years of Freedom.
