South Africa has been engulfed by a dark cloud after the news of the passing of the music icon Zahara real name Bulelwa. Her passing is tragic on many fronts first being that she was just in her mid-thirties which means she still had so much to offer the South African Society especially through her music,her music resonates with so much people. Secondly her passing is tragic since it has been clouded by controversies emanating from how the recording labels(companies) may have treated her.Standing accused are her former employers TS Records which is or was owned by TK Nciza( Current ANC Gauteng Provincial Secretary) and businessman Dj Sbu. Ofcourse claims of exploitation have been refuted by DJ Sbu and it is not my intention to judge who is telling the truth since I'm not privy to the intimate details of their contracts/.
