 CRY THE BELOVED CONGO!.


The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) remains a scar in the conscience of Afrikans . The Congo just like all Afrikan countries has not known peace since the invasion first by the Arabs and then followed by the Europeans. However, the Democratic Republic of Congo has been the hardest hit because of the riches that it is home to, it is this riches which prompted the Colonial/ imperial forces to pay a special attention to the DRC. The so-called Berlin Conference(because it was held in Berlin,Germany) which is also known as the Congo Conference or West Africa Conference, met on 15 November 1884 ,and after an adjournment concluded on 26 February 1885 , with the signature of a General  Act, regulating the European colonisation and trade in Afrika during the New Imperialism period. Essential this was a gathering of  thieves (Europeans) who gathered to partition Afrika and share among themselves on who should take which part of Afrika and how they will trade among themselves, trading on the riches of Afrika, the mineral resources.

The Conferences is popularly known as the Congo Conference because in the main these thieves (Europeans) discussed how they can benefit from the mineral riches of the Congo. For those who do not know, Congo is the richest country in the world in terms of the unexplored mineral deposits under the soil of the DRC. The Democratic Republic of Congo is endowed with exceptional natural resources , including minerals such as Cobalt and Copper, Hydropower potential. The Democratic Republic of Congo is considered the world's richest country in terms of wealth in natural resources . Most of the raw mineral deposits remain untapped and are worth an estimated $25 trillion. The Democratic Republic of Congo is also blessed with diamonds, tantalum ,tin,gold and more than 63% of global cobalt production.

In the interior ,gold,diamonds , copper, tin, cobalt , and zinc were mined ; the colony became an important  source of uranium for the  United States of America during the  World War 2. 
This would explain the interest of the imperial forces such as the United States of America, Belgium (which officially colonized the Democratic Republic of Congo), France, these European countries are the direct beneficiaries of the mineral resources of the DRC. It is this blood thirsty vampires who connived to assassinate Patrice Lumumba in 1961(this assassination remains the most important assassination in Afrikan history because of the agenda Lumumba represented and the already stated   position the Congo occupies in Afrika and the world in general).

Since the assassination of Patrice Lumumba the Democratic Republic of Congo has  known no peace or stability. The civil war is a sponsored machinery of the west led by the USA, France and Belgium because it is in the midst of all the chaos and unrest where these vampires(Europeans) continue to enrich themselves with the Congo's mineral resources. It is a real shame that Afrikan countries have failed to realise the strategic position and role the DRC could play in taking Afrika out of bondage of Colonialism and slavery. The DRC has the potential to power up a revolution to uplift the whole of Afrika and place Afrika as the most powerful and dominant continent in the world,but for that to happen we need to rid Afrika of the puppet governments who are clearly working for the old Coloniual powers.

 WHAT HAS BECOME OF THE TSHIAME SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE(SEZ)?. Tshiame in Harrismith under the Maluti A Phofung Local Municipality in the Free State province is one of the areas which have been earmarked to benefit by having the Special Economic Zone.The Special Economic Zones within South Africa are geographically designated areas set aside for specifically targeted economic activities to promote national economic growth and exports by using support measures to attract foreign and domestic investments and technology .  THE COMMUNITY OF GREATER TSHIAME FACES A BLEAK FUTURE UNDER THE MALUTI A PHOFUNG LOCAL MUNICIPALITY!. In my adult life I have not known any community which has had more misfortunes than the community of Greater Tshiame when it comes to the electricity and water provision. In the time just under a decade we have had close to five incidents of total power outage with the first major incident occurring in December of 2014 and the power was only restored in January of 2015. The second incident occurred in October of 2015 with the power only being restored in December of 2015. The third incident occurred in December of 2021, the power was only restored in January 2022. The fourth incident took place in February of 2023 with power only restored after three weeks.
