MK ,ANC,EFF, PAC,ATM,AZAPO COALITION IS THE SAFEST BET FOR BLACK PEOPLE!.
MK,ANC,EFF,PAC,ATM,AZAPO COALITION IS THE SAFEST BET FOR BLACK PEOPLE!
What is increasingly becoming clear it is that no political party will amass enough share of votes to attain the 50 plus percent needed to establish a government on its own. This is informed by different polls which have placed the governing African National Congress into the mid 40s at best interms of percentages . This simply means that South Africa is poised for a Coalition government at the National level and some few provinces such as Gauteng, KwaZulu Natal and the Western Cape. The previously mentioned provinces are governed by the African National Congress and the Democratic Alliance(Western Cape).
In Gauteng the ANC scrapped through in the last Provincial elections to be able to govern that province, this is a province which is an economic hub not just of the country but for the continent. KwaZulu Natal is currently under the leadership of the ANC, however, the dynamics have shifted quite strongly since the 2019 Provincial elections in which the ANC's share of the vote was in the mid 50s interms of the percentage. Since 2019 the Inkatha Freedom Party which governed the province from 1994 to 2004 has regained some ground as can be seen by the Local Government Election results and the recent by-elections which have been held in the different parts of KZN. To complicate the matters worse for the ANC is the emergence of the UMkhonto WeSizwe Party led by the former ANC president Jacob Zuma.
Just to labour a bit more on the KwaZulu Natal dynamics, the ANC first governed the province after the 2004 elections through a coalition with some smaller parties, it was in 2009 where the ANC won the province with an outright majority. This was a period when the ANC was under the Jacob Zuma leadership, it can safely be said that Jacob Zuma won that province for the ANC, further evidence to strengthen the point I am making are the 2019 National and Provincial elections results and the 2021 Local Government Elections where the ANC's vote declined. Jacob Zuma was no longer ANC president at the time of the decline of the ANC vote share in KZN. If this does not serve as proof that Jacob Zuma is the reason the ANC is currently governing the KZN province then nothing ever will. Now with Jacob Zuma leading the MK Party this will definitely impact the ANC vote therefore contributing in the ANC's decline both at the National and Provincial level.
With the reality of a coalition government looming large , the official opposition the Democratic Alliance(DA) which in the last national elections received a vote share of early 20s interms of percentages has already sprung into action by organizing some of the small parties into what has come to be known as the Moonshot Pact. This Moonshot Pact has evolved overtime into a Multi Party Charter, it is made of organizations such as the Democratic Alliance, Inkatha Freedom Party, Action SA, Freedom Front Plus. Now this is a coalition of the most backward, racist, anti-Black formations, right wingers of note whose sole mission is to defend and advance the interests of the beneficiaries of Colonialism-Apartheid.
In response to this Moonshot Pact which is about the perpetuation of the Black suffering and further entrenchment of the white supremacy, we need Black solidarity and such Black solidarity can only come through a Coalition of MK Party,ANC,EFF,PAC,ATM and AZAPO. Of course one is fully aware of the ANC's problematic sellout position on many questions, however, we cannot run away from the fact that most Black people either belong to or vote for the ANC. It is for this reason that we need to have formations such as the MK,EFF,PAC,ATM and AZAPO in a coalition with the ANC to ensure that the ANC delivers on the dream of liberation for the natives of this country.
